Luciad's Power โ€” the layer above +20

How rank 7 gear keeps growing past +20: requirements, Power Stones, the real success rates, and what each power actually gives you.

Everything on this server stops at +20. Luciad's Power is what comes after โ€” a second track that keeps climbing long past the point where the enchant bar is full.

How you unlock it

Take a rank 7 item to +20 and it gains Luciad's Power 1. From there every success adds one more. Three things have to be true before the server will let you try:

  • The item is rank 7. Nothing below that participates.
  • It is already at Luciad's Power 1 or higher โ€” which means it reached +20 first.
  • It is identified. An unidentified randomizable item is refused outright.

Where it stops: 32 for ordinary rank 7 gear, 40 for grade 10 โ€” which today means the Pure White weapons and the Twilight armour set. The cap is baked into the recipes, not a setting someone can raise.

What it costs

Two materials per attempt: a Power Stone that matches the slot, and a cube.

Which cube depends on how far along you are:

32 โ†’ 40Luciad's Advanced Cube

Power Stones have exactly one source: extracting +20 gear, one stone per power the item had. There is no drop, no shop, no quest. Every stone in the economy came out of somebody's +20 item.

The success rate

The first thirty-one levels are free in everything but materials. The last eight are where the system bites:

StepSuccess
1 โ†’ 31100%
32 โ†’ 3320%
33 โ†’ 3420%
34 โ†’ 3510%
35 โ†’ 3610%
36 โ†’ 375%
37 โ†’ 385%
38 โ†’ 394%
39 โ†’ 404%

Read that bottom row honestly: at 4%, reaching 40 from 39 takes about twenty-five stones on average, and averages are not promises. Grade 10 gear is a long-term project, not a weekend.

What you get for it

Each power level adds a bonus that is specific to the item โ€” the game stores a separate curve per item code. Two examples, so you can see the shape:

A medallion (caps at 32)

PowerBonus
10
5888
101,998
153,108
204,218
255,328
316,660
326,882

Twilight body armour (caps at 40)

PowerBonus
1284
51,345
102,011
152,448
202,721
252,953
313,232
323,279
353,418
403,651

Notice the difference in shape. The medallion starts at zero and climbs in a straight line, so every power is worth the same. Twilight front-loads: the first ten powers give more than the last ten, which is why a +20 Twilight piece at power 10 is already most of the way to feeling finished.

Reading the tooltip

This confuses people every day, so: the white number is the total, and it already includes the Luciad bonus. The green (+N) beside it is the enchantment alone. They are not meant to add up โ€” if you sum them you will double-count Luciad and wonder why your character sheet disagrees.

Planning it

Push to 31 on whatever you actually wear; it is cheap in risk and the bonus is real at every step. Only start the 32+ stretch on a piece you are certain is final, because the stones you burn there are stones that could have taken another item from 1 to 31.
