Distorted Space gear โ identifying, re-rolling and finishing it
The rank 7 armour line from Governor to Twilight: what the tiers keep, how to identify and re-roll, and the skill-only re-roll that saves good pieces.
The rank 7 armour line โ body, helmet, gloves and boots across six tiers, ending in the only armour on the server that reaches Luciad's Power 40. This page is about the options on those pieces; the tier materials live on the Devildom gear page.
One family, two names
The database calls this family Distorted Space. Older pages and a lot of players call the tier below it Parallel World gear. They are the same line โ if someone tells you to bring Parallel World armour, they mean the piece you upgrade from. This page uses the database name throughout.
The tier ladder
Six tiers, in ascending order:
- Distorted Space Governor and its Enhanced version โ the entry pair.
- Nusylite's โ level 175, cross-class.
- Fluminis' โ levels 181โ185, cross-class.
- Inferno's โ levels 186โ190. This is where the line becomes job-specific.
- Reviac's โ levels 191โ195, job-specific.
- Twilight โ grade 10, and the only armour that goes past Luciad's Power 32.
Upgrading does not cost you your rolls. Moving a piece up a tier replaces the item code but keeps its options and its enhancement. A well-rolled Nusylite's piece stays well-rolled all the way to Twilight โ which is why it is worth rolling early rather than waiting.
Each tier exists as body armour in four class variants โ Armor, Tights, Garb and Coat โ plus helmet, gloves and boots. The upgrade materials for every step are on the Devildom gear page; this page picks up after you have the piece in hand.
Identifying a piece
A fresh piece has no options until you identify it. Two scrolls do that:
Power of change: Armor
Blessed power of change: Armor
Both also exist as non-tradable versions, which behave identically but cannot be sold on:
Blessed Power of Change: Armor
Power of Change: Armor
Re-rolling the options
Once identified, the options can be re-rolled โ and unlike a blind roll, the class scrolls roll inside your class's pool. One per class:
Blessed Power of Change: Armor (Berserker)
Blessed Power of Change: Armor (Marksman)
Blessed Power of Change: Armor (Magus)
Blessed Power of Change: Armor (War Kahuna)
Blessed Power of Change: Armor (Beast Master)
Blessed Power of Change: Armor (Templar)
Blessed Power of Change: Armor (Mercenary)
Blessed Power of Change: Armor (Cardinal)
Blessed Power of Change: Armor (Oracle)
Blessed Power of Change: Armor (Master Breeder)
Blessed Power of Change: Armor (Slayer)
Blessed Power of Change: Armor (Deadeye)
Blessed Power of Change: Armor (Void Mage)
Blessed Power of Change: Armor (Corruptor)
Blessed Power of Change: Armor (Overlord)
And the non-tradable twins, one per class again:
Blessed Power of Change: Armor (Berserker)
Blessed Power of Change: Armor (Marksman)
Blessed Power of Change: Armor (Magus)
Blessed Power of Change: Armor (War Kahuna)
Blessed Power of Change: Armor (Beast Master)
Blessed Power of Change: Armor (Templar)
Blessed Power of Change: Armor (Mercenary)
Blessed Power of Change: Armor (Cardinal)
Blessed Power of Change: Armor (Oracle)
Blessed Power of Change: Armor (Master Breeder)
Blessed Power of Change: Armor (Slayer)
Blessed Power of Change: Armor (Deadeye)
Blessed Power of Change: Armor (Void Mage)
Blessed Power of Change: Armor (Corruptor)
Blessed Power of Change: Armor (Overlord)
You do not have to re-roll everything
The skill can be changed on its own. A Skill Changer re-rolls only the skill option and leaves every stat exactly as it is. This is the single most useful thing to know about this gear line.
It works on body armour, gloves and boots of every tier โ 21 pieces per class family โ but not on helmets. If your helmet has a bad skill, a full re-roll is the only route.
Where the piece ends up
Once the options are where you want them, the rest of the path is the same for every rank 7 item:
- Enhance to +20.
- That unlocks Luciad's Power 1.
- Grow the power to 32 โ or to 40 if the piece is Twilight.
The 32-to-40 stretch is grade-10 only, so the Twilight upgrade is not just a stat bump: it is the difference between a ceiling of 32 and a ceiling of 40 on the same piece.
The order that wastes the least
Identify, get the stats you want, fix the skill with a changer, then enhance and start on Luciad. Doing it the other way round โ enhancing first, rolling later โ works fine mechanically, but every re-roll you make on a piece you have already sunk stones into is a decision you could have made for free earlier.
