Patch 1.20 — Creature Skins Stay On, 16 Unique Weapons Fixed

🛠️ Ice Maiden: fixes and improvements

🐾 Creature skins

• Skins stay on now: recall, re-summon, relog, death and enemy dispels no longer remove your creature's skin. Skins that vanished before come back the next time you summon the creature.
• Show / Hide: right-click the skin in the Creature Formation window to hide its look without taking it off. Right-click again to show it. Your choice is saved, and a hidden skin is shown greyed out. Taking a skin off resets it to shown.
• Creature names no longer disappear while a skin is worn.

⚔️ 16 unique weapons fixed

Their bonus stats and most of their special effects did nothing. They now work as their tooltips say:

• Lv 65: Greatsword of Fury, Flameburst Spear, Kaia's Blessing, Ivory Tower Staff, Royal Axe
• Lv 110: Shadowmage Barb, Horizon's Edge, Hammer of Justice, Arcane Guardian
• Lv 155: Flesheating Blade, Dimensional Barb, Hector's Greataxe, Mace of Learning, Bloodvial Crossbow, Symbiotic Staff, Imbued Shield (and their Ethereal versions)
• Note: the Seal of Ivory Tower Staff triggers when you are hit, and seals the attacker.

🔥 Lava decorations fixed

• Lava Cloak (+0 to +10) now works against Devils: more damage dealt, less damage taken. +7 to +10 now match their tooltips (+10: +30% damage, −20% damage taken).
• The Lava Cloak + Lava Mask set bonus now works: +10% damage to all races, −5% damage taken.
• Known issue: the "vs Creature" bonus of Lava Wings and the full Lava Set is not active yet.
• How these stack with every other bonus: Damage Reduction & Increase.

💎 Luciad's Power : Mask

• Masks can now be extracted like weapons and armor: a rank 7 mask with Luciad's Power N + N × Luciad's Power Extractor gives N × Luciad's Power : Mask (100%). The mask is used up.
• Use Luciad's Power : Mask to raise another mask's Luciad's Power, up to 32.

🚀 Client performance

• Improved overall game client performance through additional optimizations.
• Optimized client loading times.

🎞 High-FPS fixes

• Fixed Emblems and Name Stamps behaving incorrectly at high frame rates.
• Their animation speed used to depend on frame timing. This has been corrected, so they behave the same at any frame rate.

🎨 Graphics fixes

• Fixed SSAO flickering, especially noticeable on certain NPCs such as Lich Valindra.
• Corrected Glow effects rendering incorrectly under certain conditions.

🌐 Website infrastructure

• The Eternal Realms website infrastructure has been updated to improve access for players connecting from Russia.
• Connections from Russian IP addresses are now automatically routed through our proxy infrastructure.
• Russian players can open the website without VPNs, external proxies or additional software.
• It is automatic and needs no configuration from players.
