Drop & Tame Event
2โ17 October: every kill or tame can drop a Drop and Tame Event Box, successful tames earn T-Protect Boxes for the creature's tier, and a lucky tame can boost taming for the whole server.
to server time
Every monster you kill or tame can drop a
Drop and Tame Event Box. Successful tames also earn T-Protect Boxes for the creature's tier, and a lucky tame can raise the taming chance of the whole server.
How the event pays
Event Box
Every monster you kill has a 1% chance to put a
Drop and Tame Event Box straight into your bag. A tamed monster counts as a kill, so a tame rolls for the box too.
T-Protect Box
A successful tame can give the T-Protect Box of that creature's tier. The rarer the creature, the better the odds, and Legendary creatures always give one. The box opens into 1 to 3 mirrors that protect taming of that tier.
World Buff
Each successful tame has a 0.5% chance to start a World Buff: +1% taming chance for every player on the server for 30 minutes.
T-Protect Box by creature tier
The tier is the creature's rarity, shown on its card. Each tier has its own box and its own mirror colour. Examples are listed by card name.

Inside the special boxes
T-Protect Box
A tier mirror keeps your empty creature card from breaking when taming a creature of that tier fails. One is used on every taming attempt of its tier, whether the tame succeeds or not, and it does nothing for other tiers. The mirrors are non-tradable and do not expire.

T-Protect Mirror: Tier 3
T-Protect Mirror: Tier 4
T-Protect Mirror: Tier 5

Good to know
- Who gets the box
- The character who lands the killing blow. Kills made by your creatures count as yours. In a party, everyone rolls on their own kills.
- Where it goes
- Straight into your bag, with a message in chat. Nothing drops on the ground, so nobody can pick up your box.
- Ursa Caverns
- Huntaholic kills in Ursa Caverns do not roll for the Event Box.
- Bound boxes
- The Event Box, the T-Protect Boxes and the Power of Change box stack, but they can't be traded, sold, dropped or put in storage.
- Which mirror is used
- When you tame, a mirror of that creature's tier is used first. Only if you have none is an old blue T-Protect Mirror used, and that one still covers every tier.
- World Buff
- Announced to the whole server. Only one runs at a time. The +1% is added to your final taming chance, so a 3.40% tame becomes 4.40%. The taming chance shown in chat already includes it. If you log in while it runs, you get it too.
- After the event
- Boxes stop dropping after 17 October. Any boxes you still have can be opened afterwards.
All chances on this page are the values the server uses. Event dates and times follow server time.
