1The Service

What Eternal Realms is — and is not.

1. 1.1Eternal Realms is a free-to-play, community-run Rappelz game service provided as a hobby project, offered "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind.
2. 1.2We may change, update, restart, wipe (in particular during beta or test phases, which will be announced), suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time.
3. 1.3Eternal Realms is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the owners or publishers of the Rappelz intellectual property. All related trademarks belong to their respective owners.
4. 1.4Access requires an internet connection and compatible hardware; we are not responsible for your connection, hardware, or third-party software.

2Accounts

Your account is a personal, revocable permission to play — not property.

1. 2.1You must provide a working e-mail address and keep your login credentials secret. You are responsible for everything that happens on your account.
2. 2.2Accounts belong to the service. Selling, buying, trading, sharing or "renting" accounts is prohibited and voids any claim to the account and its contents.
3. 2.3We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these Terms or the Server Rules, that are involved in payment disputes, or that threaten the integrity or security of the service.
4. 2.4We are not obliged to restore items, progress or currency lost through account sharing, negligence with credentials, or rule-breaking.

3Purchases, Tokens & Donations

Purchases support the server. Read this section carefully before paying.

1. 3.1Payments on this site are voluntary donations that support hosting and development. In return you receive tokens — a virtual, in-service currency usable in the Cash Shop.
2. 3.2Tokens, Vote Points, items and any other virtual content have no real-world monetary value, are not redeemable for money, and represent a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use features of the service.
3. 3.3ALL PURCHASES ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE. By completing a payment you acknowledge that you are buying virtual content delivered immediately, and you expressly waive any withdrawal/cooling-off period to the extent permitted by law.
4. 3.4Prices, packages, bonuses (including first-donation and promotional bonuses) and shop contents may change at any time without notice. Changes never apply retroactively to completed purchases.
5. 3.5Tokens and purchased items are delivered automatically to the account that made the purchase. If a delivery does not arrive within a reasonable time, contact staff on Discord — we will investigate and complete the delivery.
6. 3.6You may only pay with payment methods you are legally authorised to use. Purchases made by minors require the consent of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on their behalf.

4Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Talk to us first — disputes filed with your bank freeze the account.

1. 4.1If you believe a payment was made in error or was not delivered, contact staff on Discord BEFORE opening a dispute with your bank or payment provider. Almost every issue is resolved faster this way.
2. 4.2Filing a chargeback or payment dispute on a delivered purchase results in immediate suspension of the associated account and removal of the disputed tokens/items (and anything bought with them) until the dispute is resolved.
3. 4.3Repeated or fraudulent chargebacks result in permanent termination and may be reported to the payment providers involved.

5Virtual Items, Progress & Vote Points

Everything in the game world stays in the game world.

1. 5.1Characters, items, currency, Vote Points and progress are part of the service and remain our property. They may be modified, rebalanced, or removed as part of normal game maintenance and updates.
2. 5.2Vote Points are a free reward for supporting the server on vote sites. Abuse of the voting system (automation, proxies, fake votes) leads to removal of Vote Points and may lead to account sanctions.
3. 5.3Selling or buying virtual items, currency, or services for real money (RMT) outside the official Cash Shop is prohibited.
4. 5.4Test, beta, and event realms may be reset. Announced wipes are part of the service and do not entitle anyone to compensation, except where we explicitly announce a transfer or reward program.

6Conduct & Server Rules

The Server Rules are part of these Terms.

1. 6.1The Server Rules published at /rules (conduct, security, third-party programs, exploits, RMT, fair play, naming, chat, staff, punishments) are incorporated into these Terms in full.
2. 6.2Breaking the Server Rules is a breach of these Terms and can lead to warnings, item/currency removal, suspension or permanent termination — without refund of any purchases.

7Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

A fan-run service, with fan-run guarantees — that is, none.

1. 7.1To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties — express or implied — including availability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Downtime, bugs, rollbacks and data loss can happen.
2. 7.2To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim connected to the service is limited to the amount you donated in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim.
3. 7.3We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost "value" of virtual items or progress.
4. 7.4Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

8Changes to These Terms

1. 8.1We may update these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version, and significant changes will be announced on the site or Discord.
2. 8.2Continuing to use the service — and in particular making a purchase — after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
